Suriya42: Suriya's upcoming film with Siruthai Siva to release in 10 languages

​The shoot for Suriya's upcoming film with director Siruthai Siva began yesterday with a puja ceremony in Chennai. The film, which is currently being referred to as Suriya42, is written by Siruthai Siva and Aadhi Narayana. Now, we hear that the film is likely to be released in 10 languages. An ETimes report states that the film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Oriya to name a few and that it is being billed as a pan-India release. A motion poster from the film is all set to be released soon, according to the film's producer.

This is the first time that Siruthai Siva and Suriya are teaming up for a film. Devi Sri Prasad, who had earlier scored music for Suriya's Mayavi, Aaru and Singam franchise, will be composing the tunes for Suriya42. The first schedule has begun in Chennai and the team is all set to move to Goa after completing the portions here. Though the star cast for the film is yet to be announced, it is said that Bollywood star Disha Patani will play the leading lady in the film, thus marking her debut in the Tamil film industry. The announcements about the cast and crew is expected to be announced with a motion poster.

Though the muhurat puja was held yesterday, the pictures from the puja are yet to be released by the makers of the film. Suriya, Mahat, Siva and Devi Sri Prasad seem to have attended the puja. Fans, who were disappointed that the producers didn't share any pictures from the puja, had shared a number of morphed images and memes about the launch, which trended on social media for a while. Suriya also has in his kitty, Vanangaan, directed by Bala and Vaadi Vaasal directed by Vetri Maaran.
