Suriya thrilled to work with 'in-demand' director Lokesh Kanagaraj on upcoming project. Is it standalone film on Rolex?

Tamil superstar Suriya and director Lokesh Kanagaraj are teaming up for an upcoming movie project, which they both confirmed at a recent award function. Suriya presented Lokesh with an award and praised his abilities, describing him as the "most in-demand director" in the Indian film industry.

During the event, Suriya made no secret about his excitement about working with Lokesh. "To some extent, we know what other actors and directors are doing and how are they selecting their next movies. And the one (Lokesh) standing next to me is the director who is most in-demand. I'm also seeing the way he's handling things. Of course, he has got a wonderful future and I'm expecting a lot more, a lot more memorable films from you, Lokesh. Love the way you handle things," said Suriya.

Suriya played the role of Rolex in Vikram, which only appeared in the last 10 minutes of the film. However, the impact of his performance was huge and helped to boost the film's box office performance. The upcoming movie is expected to be an expansion of this character and will further explore the cinematic world created by Lokesh.

Much to the delight of the fans, Lokesh confirmed that he's in talks with Suriya. "We will shoot together for a movie for about 150 days. We are in talks. And soon we will announce the project," said Lokesh. 

Tamil superstar Suriya is currently busy filming for his upcoming movie Kanguva . The film, written and directed by Siva, is a costume drama set in a different era, with Suriya playing the role of a warrior character.

Fans are excited to see Suriya in a new avatar, as the motion posters for the film have already hinted at a unique look and character that he hasn't portrayed before. 

Lokesh is shooting Leo with Tamil superstar Vijay . The movie is also said to be part of the cinematic universe that Lokesh is creating.
