The cast and crew of Kanguva, including Tamil superstar Suriya and Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, along with director Siva, attended Amazon Prime Video's event in Mumbai on Tuesday. The mutual respect and admiration among the trio were on full display as they expressed gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate on this project.
Suriya and Bobby Deol shared great camaraderie while discussing their working experience. "During the last 15 days of the shoot, we enjoyed with the Lord (Bobby)," Suriya said, emphasizing the strong feeling of brotherhood he felt from day one with Bobby. "He made it happen for us. I'd say that he helped us make the climax even bigger," he added.

"He's elevating the Indian film industry. Bobby, you are in a different stratosphere right now," praised Varun Dhawan, also on stage, joining in lauding Bobby.
After a rough patch in his acting career, Bobby Deol has emerged as one of the most sought-after supporting actors in the Indian film industry, making a strong comeback with last year's blockbuster Animal. Despite his brief screen time, Bobby's performance left a lasting impression on the audience.

Bobby is seemingly set to captivate audiences once again with another powerful performance in Kanguva, where he portrays the main antagonist Perumaachi.
"I am excited about Kanguva. Working with Suriya has always been one of my dreams. He's an amazing actor, and I witnessed it with my own eyes," said Bobby, echoing Suriya's admiration for him.
The filmmakers unveiled a thrilling new teaser for Kanguva at the Mumbai event, adding to the pre-release hype of the film. The teaser promised a visual spectacle filled with colourful visuals and sweeping action set pieces.
According to the filmmakers, Kanguva's narrative travels back and forth about 500 years in time. The film is now in post-production, and the release date is yet to be announced.
