Suriya meets these Malayalam directors at Suriya 44 location in Kerala; poses with fans

Suriya, the popular actor, is teaming up with director Karthik Subbaraj for his next project outing at the Tamil cinema. The movie, which marks the National Award-winning actor’s 44th outing in the industry, has been tentatively titled Suriya 44. As per the latest updates, the actor-director recently kickstarted the new schedule of the untitled film in the Idukki district of Kerala. Suriya, who was seen arriving at the location, posed for selfies with the fans who were waiting to meet him.

In the recent pictures which are now going viral on social media, Suriya is seen posing with his fans for a selfie, at the location of Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming film. In the pictures, the fans are seen struggling to contain their excitement, while the actor is all smiles as he poses with them. Later, the National Award-winner reportedly also took some time out from his busy schedule, to meet a few admirers personally during the shoot breaks.

Amal Neerad, Nahas Hidayath meet Suriya

Interestingly, Suriya has also met a couple of famous Malayalam film industry members, including Bheeshma Parvam director Amal Neerad, and RDX maker Nahas Hidayath. If the reports are to be believed, the famous cinematographer-turned-director stayed in the same hotel and paid a friendly visit to the popular Tamil star. The RDX director, who is a big fan of the Soorarai Pottru actor, specially visited the sets of Suriya 44, to meet him.

After completing the Kerala schedule, Suriya, Karthik Subbaraj, and the team are planning to return to Chennai, for the pending shoot of Suriya 44. The talented actor is reportedly playing the role of dreaded gangster in the period action drama. Pooja Hegde appears as the female lead in the film, which stars Jayaram, Karunakaran, and Joju George in other pivotal roles. Santhosh Narayanan composes the music score. Shreyaas Krishna is the director of photography. Suriya 44 is bankrolled by Suriya’s home banner, 2D Entertainment.
