Suresh Gopi reacts to rumours about his daughter Bhagya's wedding with an emotional post - ‘This humble soul is capable of...’

Suresh Gopi and his family have been making headlines lately with the wedding celebrations of the superstar’s elder daughter, Bhagya. The star kid tied the knot with business professional Sreyas Mohan in a grand, traditional ceremony held at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. The star-studded event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the renowned celebs of Malayalam cinema , including superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal.

However, after the wedding celebrations, Suresh Gopi and his family were brutally trolled by a group of netizens, who raised questions about the sources of bride Bhagya’s wedding jewellery. The actor-turned-MP, however, has put the rumours to rest with an emotional social media post.

Suresh Gopi shuts down trolls

The National award-winning actor, who is evidently hurt with the allegations raised by the netizens, took to his official social media handles and penned an emotional note. Suresh Gopi confirmed that Bhagya’s wedding jewellery was gifted to her by her parents and grandparents, and not by any unnamed sources as alleged by the haters.

“In the light of baseless malicious information spreading in social media, I would like to clarify that the ornaments that Bhagya was wearing - every bit - were gifts from her parents and grandparent. Everything was billed and duly paid with GST and all other taxes. The designers were from Chennai and Hyderabad, and one material was from Bhima,” wrote the Commissioner actor in his post.

“Please stop doing this, and emotionally, don’t crack me or my family. This humble soul is capable of fulfilling and taking care of these responsibilities,” further added Suresh Gopi, thus putting all the rumours to rest. The action superstar’s fans and followers are now extending support to him, by commenting on his social media posts.

Bhagya Suresh and Sreyas Mohan’s grand wedding

The wedding of Suresh Gopi and Radhika Nair’s elder daughter Bhagya and Sreyas Mohan was a grand affair, which began with a grand Sangeet ceremony, which was followed by Mehendi, Haldi, and a pre-wedding reception. Later, the young couple tied the knot at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna temple in the presence of their family, friends, and quite a few selected guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later, Suresh Gopi hosted a special wedding reception for the couple, which was attended by almost the entire Malayalam film industry.
