A second look at the characters in the upcoming Malayalam movie Thekku Vadakku has been revealed by the film's makers. In this movie, the two main actors, Vinayakan and Suraj Venjaramoodu, portray two middle-aged men at odds. A teaser or trailer is anticipated to be released soon, offering a clue as to why they are against one another.
Since its first announcement, there has been a lot of excitement surrounding the film because it stars two actors who are well-known for their humour timing as well as their capability to fit into any role. In the most recent teaser for the movie, the actors can be seen glaring at one another and making faces before the title fades in.
Prem Sankar is directing the movie. S Hareesh, who previously wrote the scripts for Lijo Jose Pellissery's films Churuli, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, and Jallikattu, has penned the movie's script. His short story Rathri Kaaval serves as the inspiration for Thekku Vadakku.
Melvin Babu, Vineeth Vishwam, Shameer Khan, Kottayam Ramesh, Merin Jose, Balan Palakkal, and James Parakkal are among the film's cast members. Anjana Philip and V A Shrikumar, have bankrolled the film under the banners of Anjana Talkies and VARS Studios. The crew began the first schedule of the shoot at Muttikulangara in Palakkad, on April 6, and they are now close to finishing the last few scenes of filming.
This year, Vinayakan will make an appearance in Vinayan's Karinthandan. In the meantime, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Kunchacko Boban will be featured in the movie Grrr, which hits theatres on June 14. Nadanna Sambhavam, the actor's other film, is anticipated to hit theatres shortly as well.
The National Award winner plays the titular character of an upcoming Malayalam web series on Disney+ Hotstar titled, Nagendran's HoneymoonDisney+ Hotstar titled, Nagendran's Honeymoon. Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran, and Niranjana Anoop also play prominent roles in this project.
