The worldwide COVID-19 lockdown has inspired a lot of stories for films and web series. Suraj Aur Saanjh is one such show that will be featuring the story of two strangers, who are stuck together in a house amid the pandemic. The makers have dropped the trailer of the upcoming comedy-drama series, today.

The latest trailer begins with quite a serious and depressing tone, where the protagonist, Saanjh, played by Anjali Anand, can be seen attempting suicide due to a recent breakup. The video then soon takes a fun turn that sees the actress welcoming a new man Suraj into her house. The duo can be seen having romantic dates inside the house, while the actress calls the actor a cartoon. The duo is seen reliving multiple famous moments from the Bollywood romantic, comedy and action films. In the end, actor Anil Charanjeett’s Suraj can be seen recreating Paresh Rawal’s Babu Rao character from Hera Pheri.

The lead actor took the latest trailer to Instagram and shared it with a caption, “When two opposite personalities get stuck under one roof, what happens next is a series of fun unlimited.

#SurajAurSaanjh is set to release on 22nd October, 2021(sic).”

Meanwhile, the makers of the show released the poster of the film on Wednesday, which was shared by the main cast including Anjali. She took the poster to Instagram and wrote, “Fasten your seatbelt and get ready to go on a epic ride with

#SurajAurSaanjh, a rom-com web series streaming soon on @pocketfilmsin (sic).”

The Vedd Rawtaani directorial also features Garima Yagnik and Avinash Sachdev in pivotal roles. Suraj Aur Saanjh, which has been written by Krishna Agarwal, is set to release on October 22 on the YouTube channel of Pocket Films.
