Superstar Rajinikanth is all praise for Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, terms it as Pa Ranjith's best film

Pa Ranjith's Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, which was released on last Wednesday, had opened to positive reviews from critics. The performances of Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas and Kalaiyarasan among others received appreciation from several quarters. The technical aspects of the movie, too, garnered unanimous praise. 

A few Kollywood celebs have been going gaga over the movie in terms of its story presentation and relevant topics which were addressed in the project. The latest to join them is none other than Superstar Rajinikanth. Ranjith himself took to his Twitter page to inform that the star has watched the film and that he praised it to the hilt.

The director, who worked with Rajini in Kabali and Kaala, said that he is touched with the appreciation he received from the latter. According to him, Rajini said, "This is your best work in terms of direction, writing, casting the performers, art, cinematography, music, so far (sic).” 

Fans of the Superstar expressed excitement in the comment section and said that their matinee idol never ceases to shower appreciation on good films. This gesture from Rajinikanth is sure to boost the movie's chances at the box office as more people are expected to evoke interest to watch the film.

Madhavan's Rocketry was the last Tamil movie which received words of praise from Rajinikanth. The latter had taken to his Twitter page to pen a note on the movie and had appreciated Madhavan for the effort he undertook to bring out a movie based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.

Madhavan had profusely thanked the Superstar and later met him at his home along with Nambi. Kabir Singh's Bollywood film 83 was another project which impressed the star in recent times.
