Anupam Kher, like many of us, feels like he’s back to the 90s era. This is because the superstars of the time – Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar – have hit films even this year. Through his appreciation post for OMG 2, the actor has spoken about the magic of the 90s actors.

Through his post, Anupam Kher called the magic of the 90s actors ‘limitless.’ He ended up calling Akshay GOAT (Greatest of All Time) too.

While Akshay’s OMG 2 is working well in theatres, the film that released alongside, Gadar 2, featuring Sunny Deol, is doing brilliant Box Office as well. The year started with a bang since Shah Rukh Khan gave the biggest hit of the year, Pathaan. The movie is also the highest grossing movie among the films released in the post-COVID times.

The show that Anupam Kher attended, had parents with their teenage kids. The movie, OMG 2, is about sex education and seeing the shift made the actor really happy.

Anupam Kher gave full marks to the director Amit Rai but he specially mentioned Pankaj Tripathi, who is also one of the male leads in the movie. Anupam found Pankaj brilliant and commended the actor for making acting seem easy.

Anupam further went on to sing praises about the lead actress Yami Gautam as well as actor Pavan Malhotra, who plays the judge in the film. Anupam called Yami sharp and excellent in the film.

However, the real surprise came in him revealing that his mother loved Akshay in the role of Lord Shiva. “Kitne sundar hai Shivji Maharaj,” he quoted his mother as saying.

OMG 2 is the sequel of OMG: Oh My God. The original film is inspired from a play featuring Paresh Rawal in the lead role. The original movie also saw Paresh Rawal. This time, the story revolved around Pankaj Tripathi and his on-screen family.
