There's no stopping Sunny Deol! The Bollywood actor has been on a movie signing spree after the massive success of his film Gadar 2, which was released last year. Sunny has a couple of exciting movies lined up, including SDGM (working title) with director Gopichand Malineni. An official announcement about the movie was recently made as Sunny commenced the shoot in Hyderabad. In an interview with Mid-Day, Gopichand divulged some details about Deol's character in his film.

Gopichand Malieni will be making his directorial debut with the Sunny Deol-starrer SDGM. The filmmaker has designed it as a massive action entertainer. Spilling some beans about Sunny's character in the film, Malineni told the tabloid, "I’ll present him in a never-before-seen action avatar. After Gadar 2 released, I narrated the story to Sunny sir. He said yes immediately, adding that he was looking for this kind of role. Sunny sir doesn’t play a man in uniform."
While the film is about a common man who takes on the system to fight for what is right, the director added that it is an unusual concept. He further revealed that the story of SDGM is inspired by some real-life incidents, which people will understand once they watch the film.

Although SDGM is being made in Hindi, the Sunny Deol-starrer will be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The filmmaker continued to reveal that three action directors have been roped in as there are strong action set pieces in the film. He added that most of the stunts in SDGM will be raw and real. Talking about Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher's roles in the film, Gopichand added that they will be seen in fierce avatars as well.
For those who are unaware, the star cast is currently in Hyderabad for the film's shoot. It is a stare-to-finish schedule as the makers want to wrap it up by the year-end.
