Sunny Deol hints at Gadar 3 after the success of Gadar 2

After the huge success of Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, Sunny Deol, the star of the popular Gadar franchise, hinted at the potential of a third film. The August 11, 2023 release of the sequel has surpassed all box office records, grossing more than Rs 300 crore in its first week.

Gadar 2 is Sunny Deol's follow up film of the blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which was already a cult favorite in 2001. In the film, Sunny Deol played Tara Singh, a truck driver who falls in love with Sakeena, played by Ameesha Patel, a Pakistani Muslim woman. The film had a set up of the partition time.

Now, Gadar 2 is the continuatio of the narrative where Sakeena and Tara Singh are happily living their life with ther son Charan Jeet Singh, played by Utkarsh Sharma. Unfortunately, their son get stuck in Pakistan due to a misunderstanding and their family goes through a hard time. Once again, Tara Singh reaches Pakistan to bring back his son safely to India. 

The film has been appretiated by fans who are praising its action, dialogues, patriotism and emotions. The film got mixed reviews by the critics but it still managed to become a blockbuster at the box office. 

Now, a video of Sunny Deol being papped at the airport is doing the rounds on the internet. Sunny is asked by a photographer if Gadar 3 is in the works, to which Sunny cheerfully responds, "Gadar 3 bhi aayegi."
