Comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover will reunite for a comedy series after seven years

We will soon witness the amazing comedy chemistry between standup comedians Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma on Netflix. After a strained relationship for the past seven years, the two have finally joined hands for a collaborative project. Talking about his friendship with Kapil, Sunil said that people making comments about their past rift have no credibility to make any assumptions.
Sunil’s relationship with Kapil
During an interview with the Indianexpress, Sunil was asked how he dealt with people asking questions about the infamous fight. Sunil said initially he would get disturbed but not anymore. “I know the truth so what someone says or understands is their problem, not mine. Those who point fingers, what is their credibility?,” he added.
He further said that if there is a need to answer something, he would do so, but usually, there is no need for an explanation. He went on to explain that people don’t have a full understanding of the matter. “No facts, they are just saying something because it’s their job. Writing negative things grabs more attention. They will all understand eventually,” he further added.
The alleged fight
The reports of Kapil and Sunil’s strained relationship gained attention when Kapil got into a fight with his then team members, Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar, in 2017. Kapil allegedly hit Sunil with a shoe and slapped him after which Sunil decided to part ways with him.
Comedy series
Sunil also revealed that all is well between the two comedians now, and they will soon update the fans about their upcoming project. Though not much has been revealed about the show, it is reported that the comedy series is going to feature the members of The Kapil Sharma Show.
Sunil was last seen in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, directed by Atlee, that released in 2023. He will soon feature in the dark comedy series, Sunflower Season 2. The Richie Mehta-directed series stars Adah Sharma, Vikas Bahl and Ranvir Shorey. The show will have its world premiere on March 1 on Zee5.
