Is Hera Pheri’s sequel on the way?
Two weeks ago, on August 23, actor Paresh Rawal confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 will go on floors soon. Not only this, but he will return as the iconic Baburao Apte character in the movie.
Speaking to the news portal Pinkvillla in detail, Paresh Rawal said, “Main ye umeed karta hu ki kuch alag karne ko mile. Backdrop uska alag ho, koi nayi kahaani ho to uske responses bhi alag honge. Uska approach bhi alag hoga. (I expect that I get to do something different this time. Like a different backdrop, or a new story so that his responses will also be different. His approach will be unique.)"
Hera Pheri is a classic Indian comedy film released in 2000, directed by Priyadarshan. It revolves around three individuals who stumble into a kidnapping plot. Its sequel, Phir Hera Pheri (2006), directed by Neeraj Vora, continues the hilarious adventures of the trio as they face financial troubles and get entangled in more comical situations.
Meanwhile, Akshay will soon headline a movie titled ‘Mission Raniganj’. It is based on the collapse of Raniganj Coalfields in 1989.
