Suniel Shetty on Hera Pheri 3: 'Extraordinary script, super excited'

Suniel Shetty is currently enjoying his time as he is gearing up for a new role, that is, of a grandfather, as his daughter Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are set to embrace parenthood. On the other hand, the actor's face also lights up with joy as he discusses the highly anticipated Hera Pheri 3, reuniting him with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. 

Excitement for Hera Pheri 3

Regarding his professional life, Shetty is looking forward to the film, which will shortly begin shooting and will feature the return of director Priyadarshan. As per Bombay Times, in the actor's opinion, the filmmaker is the one and only person capable of making Hera Pheri 3. His heart is racing with anticipation. As far as comedic timing is concerned, Priyadarshan is an expert. Once again, he is creating his own story, and he is a master screenwriter. Priyadarshan's script, according to Shetty, is truly exceptional.

Special year ahead for Suniel Shetty's family

Talking about impending grandparenthood, Shetty said that Athiya is a beautiful and brilliant mother-to-be. She is self-aware, laser-focused, and has clear desires. In 2025, it will be the most anticipated event.

Last year, on November 8, Athiya and KL Rahul announced their pregnancy news on social media. They were married in January 2023.

Suniel Shetty's role in Nadaaniyan

Recent film work for Shetty includes Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut feature Nadaaniyan, which also stars Khushi Kapoor. In Shauna Gautam's directorial debut, the actor portrays the role of Khushi's father. The film also stars Mahima Chaudhry, Jugal Hansraj, and Dia Mirza in supporting roles. You can watch Nadaaniyan on Netflix.

Shetty will next be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film, directed by Ahmed Khan, is set to hit the big screen later this year.
