Sunflower: All evidence points to Sunil Grover in latest poster of crime comedy

Sunflower, Sunil Grover’s upcoming crime comedy promises fun as well as mystery. The first look poster of the ZEE5 series was revealed recently and it can’t be more obvious that Sunil’s character Sonu is one of the prime suspects.

The character poster had even the actor pointing fingers at himself while the background represented a flower, but with syringes, handcuffs, poison bottles and police tape.  

The web series is slated to premiere on June 11 and also has Ranvir Shorey as Inspector Digendra, Girish Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukul Chadda, Radha Bhatt, Ashish Kaushal, Shonali Nagrani and Saloni Khanna.

Sunflower, written and co-directed by Vikas Bahl and Rahul Sengupta, revolves around a middle-class housing society in Mumbai called Sunflower and the series is filled with quirky characters. From thrill, comedy and drama, the series promises to take the audience on a roller-coaster ride.

This is Sunil’s first series as the lead character. He is noted for his supporting acts in films and shows including Aamir Khan’s Ghajini and Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar is Back. He recently also participated in LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse that was hosted by Boman Irani and Arshad Warsi.
