Sunflower 2 – Release date, OTT partner, plot, cast, trailer, and everything there is to know about Sunil Grover's upcoming show

Sunil Grover starred in the comedy-thriller show, Sunflower. After the successful season one, the makers are all set to release the second season of the show. Apart from Sunil Grover, the show stars also Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda, Radha Bhatt, and Ashish Vidyarthi return as the members of the Sunflower society, as well as the new face that is the latest addition to the ensemble cast is Adah Sharma.

Release Date and OTT Platform

Sunflower 2 will be released on Zee5 on March 1, 2024. It is reported that the series will be out at midnight on the OTT platform.

Plot

The season 2 starts from where the first season ended. Tambe and DG are still trapped and want to locate Mr. Kapoor's killer in season 2. With the trailer release of season 2, the level of mystery has increased which has added the addition of twice as many suspects, India's most popular murder suspect. As usual, Sonu (Sunil Grover) will keep them confused and wondering.

With Sunil Grover reprising his role from season 1 as Sonu Singh, the show will also see Adah Sharma, Ranbir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda, Radha Bhatt, and Ashish Vidyarthi, who are all set to bring together humor and mystery.

Sunflower 2 Trailer

The trailer of the second season of the show shows a peek into the fascinating world of Sunflower, a Mumbai middle-class housing society full of eccentric individuals. The trailer shows the new tenant of the society Adah Sharma as Rosie Mehta spreading her charm. Sunil Grover, on the other hand, is seen repeating his role as the mysterious Sonu Singh, which adds mystery and comedy to the already outstanding cast.

The police team led by Ranvir Shorey and Girish Kulkarni, respectively, as DG and Tambe, pick up where Season 1 left off in their tenacious search for Mr. Kapoor's killer. A fascinating bar dancer named Rosie has inherited Kapoor's apartment, which brings further questions and attention to the case. The trailer of Sunflower 2 has left the audience intrigued.
