Ravi Teja, besides acting in a handful of films like Tiger Nageswara Rao, Eagle simultaneously, is finding time to back small-budget productions. While his rural comedy headlined by Karthik Rathnam, Changure Bangaru Raja, awaits its release, the teaser of his new project, Sundaram Master, was unveiled recently. Viva Harsha, Divya Sripada star in the film directed by Kalyan Santhosh.
“Our #SUNDARAMMASTER is here :))) Happy to bring you all the teaSIR of our SM featuring my boy @harshachemudu,” Ravi Teja wrote as he shared the teaser. The nearly two-minute-long glimpse journeys through the trials and tribulations of a teacher who’s deputed in a tribal region. The teaser showcases his struggles to educate children and the adults in the village.
Viva Harsha uses twigs and sticks to teach them English alphabets while the students have no clue on what he’s talking about. Much to his surprise, he realises that the tribals are already well versed with English and instead mistake him to be an ignorant teacher. Meanwhile, the teacher falls in love with one of the locals. Where is the tale headed? The glimpse piques your curiosity.
Kalyan Santhosh has also written the story of the film jointly produced by Ravi Teja and Sudheer Kumar Kurru under RT Teamworks and Goal Den Media. Sricharan Pakala scores the music while Deepak Yaragera cranks the camera. Chandra Mouli Eathalapaka is the art director and Srihitha Kotagiri, Raja Sekhar Reddy handle costume design.
Karthik Vunnava is the editor and Hemanth Kurru is the executive producer respectively. Viva Harsha has acted in multiple films starring Ravi Teja including Power, Raja The Great. Sundaram Master is his first project as a lead actor. Some of his OTT shows include The Grill, Hostel Daze, Shit Happens, 3 Roses. He rose to prominence with his Youtube videos.
