Sunainaa is currently busy with A Vinoth Kumar's Laththi in which she has been paired opposite Vishal for the second time after Samar. Her character in the film hasn't been revealed; all we know as of now is that she plays the romantic interest of Vishal who essays the role of a police constable in the action flick.

She also has Kannan's Eriyum Kannadi in which she teams up with Nakul after their notable combination in Kadhalil Vizhunthen and Maasilamani. Her last outing was Tollywood flick Raja Raja Chora which had a direct release on Zee5. Trip, which had her sharing screen space with Yogi Babu, was her previous movie in Tamil.

Now, the actress has signed another project, titled Regina. Debutant Domin DSilva has directed the multilingual movie which will release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Produced by Sathish Nair of Yellow Bear Production, the film will have the actress play a housewife who sets out to take revenge against a few people who tortured her in the past.

Producer Sathish himself has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Pavi K Pavan and editing by Toby John. Yugabharathi, Vivek Velmurugan, Vijayan Vincent and Ijaz have penned lyrics for songs while Sinoy Joseph has helmed sound designing for the project.

The team also revealed a poster of the movie which has Sunainaa pointing a gun towards an unknown person. The female-centric movie is expected to release this year.

Regina, which has the actress playing a titular role for the first time, is her 20th film in Tamil. Halitha Shameem's Sillu Karupatti (streaming on Netflix) is the last movie of hers which won appreciation from critics and audience alike.
