Sukhee promotions: Shilpa Shetty flaunts her fashion A-game

Shilpa Shetty is all set to grace the silver screen after a hiatus. In her upcoming film Sukhee, the Bollywood actress – who is also a fitness and fashion icon – will star alongside Amit Sadh, Chaitanya Chaudhary, Kiran Kumar and Kusha Kapila. The light-hearted, slice-of-life drama film is helmed by debutant director Sonal Joshi.

In the movie, Shilpa plays a housewife who breaks free after receiving an invitation to a school reunion. Slated to be released on September 22, Sukhee is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma. Meanwhile, Shilpa is also making headlines with her style choices while promoting her upcoming release.

Shilpa’s quirky fashion choices

The actress recently took to social media and posted a collection of pictures wearing a denim ensemble, with its drapery giving the illusion of a saree. Shilpa styled the Diksha Khanna creation with chunky silver jewellery from Tribe Amrapali. She complemented the look with nude lips, dewy makeup, sharp winged eyeliner and a sleek ponytail. “Denim is always a good idea!”, she captioned the post. Her fans quickly reacted to the pictures with comments like, “Omg”, “Hot” and “Woww”.

A contemporary take on traditional wear

The actress kickstarted the promotions of Sukhee earlier this week, wearing a stunning white embroidered saree, designed by Mohammad Mazhar. She styled the saree with red earrings from Kohar by Kanika. Raising the glam quotient, the diva paired the ensemble with a white off-shoulder blouse. Shilpa finished off the look with red lips, winged eyeliner, dewy makeup and loose hair.

Shilpa had also posted pictures of this outfit on social media, captioning them, “I take my fashion game very seriously”. “Cause you’re the game changer of every fashion look”, commented a user, while another fan wrote, “Your choices are elegant, I love them”. “Born to impress.
