Exclusive: Sukanya Girish says it’s a dream come true to work with director Shashank on his Kannada-Telugu bilingual Love 360

Kannada filmmaker Shashank’s most-latest directorial, Love 360, which introduces newbie Praveen and pairs him with Love Mocktail’s Rachana Inder, has a new addition to the cast. The film, which is currently in production, will have Sukanya Girish, who was earlier seen in Shivaji Surathkal: Ranagiri Rahasya, joining the cast, in what the filmmaker describes will be a role that brings a twist in the tale.  Shashank took to social media to announce the casting, writing, “#SukanyaGireesh, A Gorgeous and talented girl is the twist in the tale.”

Speaking to OTTplay about the Kannada-Telugu bilingual, Sukanya said, “I have started shooting for Love 360 in Bengaluru. This is my third film so far, and while I had a supporting role in Shivaji Surathkal, my debut as a main lead will be Kailasa Kalidre. In Love 360, I play the second lead, an arrogant, uptight girl, who, as Shashank sir rightly said, brings about quite a few twists in the tale. There is also quite a bit of dancing involved. It is a dream come true to work with Shashank sir. What’s also exciting is that this project will mark my debut in the Telugu film industry as well.

Sukanya is currently awaiting the release of Kailasa Kalidre, which, she says, is eyeing a Dasara release slot. “The team is looking at releasing the trailer shortly and, hopefully, a festive season release in theatres,” she adds.

Shashank’s last theatrical release was the Krishna Ajai Rao-starrer Thayige Thakka Maga. While he is currently working on Love 360, he also has an as-yet-untitled film with Real Star Upendra and Hariprriya in the pipeline.
