"I am quite happy to see Family Drama being received well everywhere. I was genuinely nervous about how audiences would respond to the film and my character. I was scared to even check the comments or the reviews for the film. It's releiving that they accepted our effort wholeheartedly. I feel thrilled to be receving applause for my performance. I wanted to take up something out-of-the-box after the success of Colour Photo and accepted Family Drama. As an actor, this was a refreshing experience for me. Bringing such a loud character to life was difficult on a psychological level," Suhas said.

Elaborating on the film's success, he stated, "It's a pleasant surprise that family audiences have up lapped up the film big time. As an actor, it's my dream to be part of all kinds of stories and perform many characters. I'm currently working on Writer Padma Bhushan and Ambajipeta Marriage Band as a lead. Nearly four projects of mine are in the middle of shoot. I don't think my image will change any way after Family Drama. It's just one different film in my career as an actor. However, this success given me the leap of faith to accept different roles."

The director Meher Tej, lauding Suhas' performance, shared, "Suhas is a wonderful performer. Each of the sequences in the film was rehearsed. Suhas and other actors were also part of a few workshops. I narrated the story of Family Drama to him during the shoot of Colour Photo. Having liked the story and the characterisation, he said yes immediately. Dark comedies are a rarity in Telugu cinema and I was inspired by the films made by Ramgopal Varma and Alfred Hitchcock to make this. It's good to know that audiences of various age groups and tastes are liking Family Drama."
