Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, made her OTT film debut in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’ last December. Based on characters in Archie Comics, the film’s ensemble cast included Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, Yuvraj Menda, and Suhas Ahuja, along with Suhana. However, the actress is currently in the news thanks to a property she purchased in Alibaug recently.
According to a report in ETimes, Suhana Khan recently bought a sprawling 7,820-square-meter property in Mumbai’s neighbouring city, Alibaug. The stamp duty described Suhana as the owner, besides specifying its size. She might be young and barely one film old, but King Khan’s daughter is already a smart investor.
During a recent interview with Mirchi Plus, Suhana was asked if she feels uncomfortable when her father posts positive things about her on social media. She smiled genuinely and proudly, brushing off any hint of discomfort. She expressed how proud she is and said that there was no reason to feel awkward since SRK is her father and is showing her his affection.
Suhana was seen on OTT in Netflix’s comic reboot on December 7, 2023, for the first time. As aforementioned, she debuted with the Zoya Akhtar-directed film portraying Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Lodge.
Speaking candidly about her singing debut in The Archies with the song Jab Tum Na Theen, Suhana said she was anxious because she isn't a trained vocalist. She did, however, mention how much she enjoyed singing and how Tejas and Dot's patience helped her get through the difficult parts of the recording sessions.
Besides Suhana as Veronica, the film had the following actors play their respective parts: Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper; Aditi Saigal as Ethel Muggs; Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley; Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle; Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews; and Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones.
