Sudigali Sudheer, who tasted success with Gaalodu last year, returns as a lead actor with Calling Sahasra, a thriller which releases on December 1. Dollysha is cast as the female lead in the Arun Vikkirala directorial. Spandana Palli, Siva Balaji play other key roles in the film, produced by Vijesh Kumar Tayal, Chiranjeevi Pamidi, Venkateswarulu Katuri under Shadow Media Productions and Radha Arts.
At the pre-release event of Calling Sahasra, Sudigali Sudheer opened up about the film. “Director Arun Vikkirala has given me a challenging role. I was either seen in comedy films or mass entertainers to date, I credit him for showcasing me in a new avatar. Dollysha is a beautiful actress, she is competitive and pushed me to do better,” he said.
While the team was confident that they had made a good film, it was Bekkem Venugopal who helped them with the promotional strategy, ensuring them a good release in Telugu states. “I thank my fans and everyone who’ve contributed to my journey. While Gaalodu was a success at the box office, my friends cautioned me that it was my fans who helped it become a hit despite a regular plot,” he opined.
Sudheer further added, “My friends advised me to not take a chance and asked me to give my fans better films. I want to be careful about my choices. The film started three years ago and is releasing on December 1 amidst great difficulty.Watch Calling Sahasra in theatres and let people know if you like it. I hope the film brings cheer into our lives after release, it’s all in the hands of audiences now.”
Mohith Rahmaniac has composed the songs for Calling Sahasra, while Mark K Robin works on the background score. D Shashi Kiran cranked the camera for the same while Garry Bh is the editor. Shivaraj choreographed the action sequences.
