Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandnephew Chandra Kumar Bose requests Randeep Hooda to do THIS in his film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

If there’s one person who is super excited these days, then, it has to be none other than the stellar Bollywood Randeep Hooda. And the reason for his excitement is understandable, because the release of his pet project Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is just around the corner. Speaking of the film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, today, Chandra Kumar Bose (who happens to be the grandnephew of the late freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose) took to social media and tagged Randeep Hooda with a request.

Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandnephew of Subhash Chandra Bose, today, took to social media and requested Randeep Hooda to refrain from linking Netaji to Savarkar. In his tweet, Chandra Kumar Bose wrote, ‘@RandeepHooda- appreciate your making a film on 'Savarkar', but it’s important to project the true personality! Please refrain from linking 'Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's' name with Savarkar. Netaji was an inclusive secular leader & patriot of patriots.’

Randeep Hooda in trhe role of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

For the unversed, Randeep Hooda is now all set to be seen in the much-awaited film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, wherein he will be seen playing the titular role of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Speaking about the film, it has been in the news ever since the time it was announced. Yesterday, the film’s makers launched the most-eagerly awaited trailer of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.

As for the trailer, besides being hard hitting, it unfailingly invokes the patriotic fervour in an individual. The said trailer also showed the martyrs and leaders like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Madanlal Dhingra, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh and others.

As for the film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, besides Randeep Hooda, it also stars Ankita Lokhande, who was last seen in the personality-based reality show Bigg Boss 17, wherein she became one of the top five finalists. As for Ankita, she will be seen in the role of Randeep Hooda’s dutiful wife. Besides Randeep Hooda and Ankita Lokhande, there is also Amit Sial, who will also be seen in an extremely important role in the film, which will be released on March 22.

While the film has been directed and co-written by Randeep Hooda along with Utkarsh Naithani, it is being produced by Randeep Hooda Films and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures along with Legend Studios and Avak Films. The film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is being readied to be released in two languages viz., Hindi and Marathi.
