Sub Inspector Yugandhar: OTT rights of Aadi Sai Kumar's film sold for a bomb

ETV has been announcing originals one after another, and some time ago, we at OTTplay reported that the noted Telugu platform had announced a new original titled Sub Inspector Yugandhar, featuring Aadi Sai Kumar as the main lead. Now, the film is back in the news, and we have some interesting updates regarding the project.

We have learned that the streaming rights for the film have been acquired by ETV for a whopping ₹7 crore, marking the highest deal in Aadi Sai Kumar's career to date. None of his previous films had fetched more than ₹5 crore, but Sub Inspector Yugandhar has managed to secure a solid price from ETV Win. The makers are thrilled with the deal, as ETV has also bagged the satellite rights for ₹3 crore.

Made on a very low budget, Sub Inspector Yugandhar has already entered the profit zone even before its release. Due to repeated delays, the makers decided to skip the theatrical release and opted for a direct OTT premiere on ETV Win.

Director Yash has crafted a striking look for Aadi, which is evident in the promotional materials. Aadi Sai Kumar has recently been in the spotlight for signing three consecutive Telugu films. In Sub Inspector Yugandhar, he plays a powerful role that promises to captivate audiences.

Produced by Pradeep Juluru on a modest budget, the film has seen significant investment in visuals and promotions. Described as a crime thriller with high production values, Sub Inspector Yugandhar is expected to deliver gripping thrills.
