Stree 2 worldwide box office collection day 7: After six years of Stree Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao returned with the film's second installment. People had pinned high hopes on Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik. Needless to say, the horror-comedy lived up to the audience's expectations. The film has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year so far. Within 7 days of its theatrical release, the Maddock Films' production has raced past Rs 400 crore (gross) globally.

Stree 2 has been unstoppable at the box office since its release day. Despite a mega clash with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa, the horror-comedy has performed exceptionally at the ticket window. Maddock Films shared Stree 2's worldwide box office collection update on Instagram. After seven days, Shraddha and Rajkummar's film collected Rs 401 crore (gross) globally.
While Stree 2 earned Rs 342 crore (gross) in India, it minted Rs 59 crore (gross) globally. The summation of the two figures comes to a staggering Rs 401 crore (gross). While sharing this update, the makers wrote, "One astounding week of BLOCKBUSTER success! Thank you audience, for your love (sic)."
The horror-comedy benefitted due to the extended weekend release. The Amar Kaushik film had an Independence Day release, with paid previews released on August 14, 2024.
Where to watch Stree 2 on OTT?
Once Stree 2's theatrical run ends, the film will head for its digital premiere. The horror-comedy will have its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT release date of Stree 2 hasn't been confirmed yet. A theatrical release generally drops on streaming after 45 to 60 days of its release.
Meanwhile, Stree 2 marked the return of Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee as Bittu, Rudra Bhaiya, and Jana. Actress Bhumu Rajgor played the character of Stree in the second installment.
