Stree 2 worldwide box office collection day 10: Shraddha Kapoor's horror-comedy film hit the silver screen on Independence Day. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 clashed with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa at the box office. Despite a three-way clash, the film, also starring Rajkummar Rao, emerged as a box office winner. Within 10 days of its theatrical run, Stree 2 has entered Rs 500 crore club at the worldwide box office.

Maddock Films shared an official update about Stree 2's global box office collection on Instagram. The makers revealed that Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer minted Rs 456 crore (gross) and Rs 78.5 crore (gross) globally. This brings the worldwide collection of Stree 2 to Rs 505 crore (gross).
Sharing this update, Maddock Films penned, "Stree 2 shatters records with a LEGENDARY and HIGHEST ever 2nd Saturday in history! Thank you to everyone for your continued love and support. Book your tickets now (sic)."
Aparshakti Khurana on Stree 2 success
Meanwhile, speaking with Moneycontrol, Aparshakti Khurana opened up about his film Stree 2's success. The actor said, "Yeh, expect toh nahi kiya tha ki aisa hoga, but having said that, I think, the love and acceptance we got as Bittu and Jana in the first one only got multiplied." The actor feels the box office figures of Stree 2 are 'unprecedented'.
He also acknowledged the fact that his 2018 film did commercially well despite being made on a small budget. While Aparshakti returned as Bittu in Stree, Shraddha and Rajkummar reprised their respective characters in the horror-comedy film.
Stree 2 on OTT
Stree 2 is confirmed to have its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video. However, the makers haven't shared any update about the film's digital release date yet. That said, a film generally drops on OTT after 45 to 60 days of its theatrical release.
