We are finally nearing the release of Stree 2 after six years of the first installment, and to increase the excitement, the makers have dropped the trailer. Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, along with Shraddha Kapoor as the mysterious woman, return to join the gang to battle the new terror in the hamlet of Chanderi.

Introduction of the new terror: Sarkate

The trailer begins with Tripathi's character talking about "Sarkate ka Atank," the headless monster who actually created Stree, the one who preyed on men. However, Sarkate takes a different approach, abducting women, while Tripathi, in a hilarious declaration, asserts his status as an influencer, garnering an increasing number of followers. We see that Kapoor comes back once again after she acquires Stree's power from her plaited hair, which she possessed in the climax of the first film. Along with the spooky setup, the funniest dialogues are also back, making it as exciting as the 2018 release.

The trailer gives a glimpse into the ultimate battle the gang is gearing up for, with Rao as Vicky taking charge despite being a scaredy cat all along. Furthermore, we witness Banerjee, who had previously regained his composure, succumbing to an attack and becoming possessed once more. Remember Bhediya?

The universe is uniting, but how? We're excited to see how the story progresses with Stree 2.

In the trailer, Tamannaah Bhatia performs a special dance number before the monster drags her away.

Production team and release date announcement
