Rajkummar and Shraddha Kapoor starred in the 2018 horror-comedy Stree. The film became an instant hit upon release and since then fans have been waiting for the sequel with bated breath. The makers announced the sequel recently with a teaser and now details about the trailer release date of Stree 2 are finally here!
When will the Stree 2 trailer be released?
Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles again, the upcoming film has already created enough buzz since the announcement. And now, it has been reported by Bollywood Hungama that the trailer of Stree 2 will be out on July 18.
While the teaser of the film, which was released earlier did not reveal anything about the film, the trailer is expected to give us some insight about the storyline and characters. Fans cannot wait to know what will happen next in Chanderi town and how Shraddha and Rajkummar's characters will be shaped this time around.
The portal also reported that the trailer of Stree 2 will be attached to Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk's upcoming film, Bad Newz, during its theatrical release. The movie is set to hit screens on July 19.
Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao shared the teaser of Stree 2 on June 25 along with the film's release date. Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor wrote: “Iss baar Chanderi mein azaadi ke din hoga aatank! The legend returns this INDEPENDENCE DAY on 15th August! #Stree2 #SheIsBack #Stree2Teaser.”
The film will also bring back the hilarious characters of Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana promising more laughter and spookiness with their return. The film is being directed by Amar Kaushik and is backed by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The film is a part of the producer's horror-comedy universe which includes films like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya.
Stree 2 is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024.
