Stree 2 box office: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film smashes records, outpaces Animal, Gadar 2 and Jawan?

Stree 2 is unstoppable at the box office. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, the film has been breaking records since its release on August 15, Independence Day. The film is shining with big numbers at the ticket window despite releasing two other big films on the same day - Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. 

Stree 2 outpaces Animal, Gadar 2 and Jawan

As per the early trends reported by Pinkvilla, Stree 2 is expected to show a massive jump in collections on its 10th day, i.e., its second Saturday. The estimated collections of the horror-comedy on its 10th day are in the range of Rs 35 crore, which will take the total collections of the film to a whopping Rs 345 crore.

With such a massive jump, the Shraddha Kapoor starrer is set to break the records of previous films including Ranbir Kapoor's Animal (Rs 33 crore), Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 (Rs 30 crore), Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (Rs 29 crore), and Prabhas' Bahubali 2 (Rs 26.50 crore).

With the speed that the film is running at the box office, Stree 2 can easily enter the Rs 400 crore club by the end of Sunday. 

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is a sequel to the horror-comedy film 'Stree'. The film, written by Niren Bhatt also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurrana, among others. The film is one of the biggest Hindi hits of the year as well as the most successful film for both Shraddha and Rajkummar. The film also features exciting cameos, including Varun Dhawan as Bhediya and Akshay Kumar.
