Six years after Stree, its second installment has arrived in cinemas. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 has opened to thunderous responses from critics and audiences. Bollywood celebrities, who watched the horror comedy film on the big screen, have given a thumbs up to the Amar Kaushik directorial. Actor Varun Sharma, Huma Qureshi, and more celebrities highly praised Stree 2 and declared it a 'super hit' movie.

Veer Pahariya, Huma Qureshi, and Varun Sharma were among the first ones to share their review of Shraddha and Rajkummar's film Stree 2. On the other hand, Manushi Chhillar expressed her excitement to watch the entertainer. "Super excited for Stree 2. Always a treat to watch (sic)," wrote Manushi while mentioning the film's star cast.
Sharing his review of Stree 2, actor Varun Sharma called the Amar Kaushik film the 'best and biggest fun film of 2024'. He further called it a fantasy movie and added, "Gripping to another level while making you roll on the floor laughing (sic)." As for Huma, she declared the film a 'super hit'.
Veer Pahariya, who will make his debut with Sky Force, said Stree 2 has blockbuster written all over it. He also loved the cameos in the spooky comedy film.

Meanwhile, it's been confirmed that Stree 2 will have its OTT release on a leading streaming platform. The film, produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, will drop on Amazon Prime Vidoe after its theatrical run. Apart from Shraddha and Rajkummar, Stree 2's star cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The movie comes with a lot of surprising cameos.
Having said that, Stree 2 clashed with two other Bollywood movies on Independence Day 2024. It locked horns with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa at the box office.
