Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao were seen as celebrity guests on Zakir Khan's new show, Aapka Apna Zakir. The show, which premiered on August 10, featured the Stree 2 actors interacting with the host. On the show, Shraddha and Rajkummar recalled heartwarming stories of their first pay cheques. While revealing the same, the Stree 2 actors mentioned the jobs they did.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's first salaries
As a part of Stree 2 promotions, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao made an appearance on Aapka Apna Zakir. Shraddha revealed that she worked at a coffee shop in the USA and got 40 dollars as her first salary. The actress recalled her parents sent her to America but gave her limited pocket money to keep her grounded.
"However, they said if I wanted more money, I could earn it myself. My dad asked me to get a job there, so I applied for it at a coffee shop. I bagged the job. My first cheque was 40 dollars," said Kapoor. The actress utilized her first salary by spending it on food.

On the other hand, Rajkummar recalled he used to teach dance to a 7-year-old girl when he was in high school. "I used to get Rs 300 for training her. The first time when I received my first salary, I think it was six notes of Rs 50. I was so happy because the financial situation at my house was not good in those days," stated Rao.
As for Rajkummar, he used his first salary to buy groceries and desi ghee. The actor said it was a big deal for his family to have ghee on their rotis. For the uninitiated, Zakir's show Aapka Apna Zakir streams on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The episodes also air on Sony TV.
Stree 2 is now playing in cinemas
Meanwhile, Shraddha and Rajkummar's film Stree 2 has hit the big screen. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree. The initial feedback to the horror comedy is massive and celebrities have already declared it a 'super hit'. It has been produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
