STR 48: Silambarasan TR's new look for Desingh Periyasamy's film takes the internet by storm

It looks like Silambarasan TR is ready with the look for his next, which is tentatively being referred to as STR 48. The film is helmed by Desingh Periyasamy, marking his maiden collaboration with the director and is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's production house Raaj Kamal Films International.

Silambarasan's new look, a rage on the internet
Meanwhile, a picture of Silambarasan TR conversing with the film's director Desingh Periyasamy during their recent meeting is now doing the rounds on the internet. In the picture, Silambarsan is seen sporting long hair, which he has tied up in a bun and is sporting a beard. His face is hidden from the camera. The new look has already set the internet on fire. The director had captioned the picture, "Positive Mind Positive Vibes #STR48 #BloodandBattle (sic)."

Desingh Periyasamy's sophomore project
STR 48 marks the director's second outing in films. The ace director had made his directorial debut with Dulquer Salmaan's Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, which also starred Ritu Varma, Rakshan and Niranjani Ahathian. The film was a commercial success.

The director excited to work with STR and Kamal Haasan
Desingh Periyasamy had earlier expressed his happiness about working with the Pathu Thala actor and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. Taking to his social media handle, the director had written, "I feel extrmly grtful for the unimaginable miracles of my life. Having the privilege of narrating a story to Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan sir for being gvn the opportunity to direct under his prestigious @RKFI is a dream come true.Thank you #Mahendran Sir for making this happen (sic)."

STR 48 bankrolled by Silambarasan TR
This is the first time that Silambarasan TR is working in a project, which is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's production house, Raaj Kamal Films International. The cast and crew for the film are yet to be announced. The team is likely to begin shooting. Meanwhile, there are rumours that Kamal Haasan will be seen in a cameo in the project.
