Episode one of the new drama series Paradise is now streaming on Hulu (Disney+ Hotstar in India). Just two days before the first three episodes of the thriller—which reunites Sterling K. Brown with This Is Us writer Dan Fogelman—were slated to premiere, the surprise drop takes place. The projected January 28 premiere on Hulu for episodes 2 and 3 remains unchanged.
The mostly positive reviews of Paradise may have motivated the early release. Plus, one of the series' numerous shocking turns concludes Episode 1, so there's a decent chance that the cliffhanger will entice viewers.

The official logline reflects one side of the genre-mixing story. Set in a peaceful, affluent neighbourhood, Paradise features some of the most famous people in the world. However, a high-stakes investigation into a terrible murder shatters all of that calm.
The series teaser has previously shown that James Marsden's character, the president of the United States, is the victim and that Sterling, the head of the president's security detail, is the suspect.
A strong review on Rotten Tomatoes precedes the premiere of Paradise on Hulu. Produced by Dan Fogelman, the show features Sterling K. Brown, an Emmy and Oscar contender, as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, whose current mission is to safeguard James Marsden's character, former President Cal Bradford. Brown co-stars with Fogelman and other producers on the show, which also stars Sarah Shahi, Aliyah Mastin, Sarah Nicholson, Nicole Brydon Bloom, and Percy Daggs IV.
Cassidy Freeman, Michelle Meredith, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Sarah Shahi, and Julianne Nicholson are all part of that ensemble. Jonathan Beavers, Charlie Evans, Krys Marshall, and Gerald McRaney.
Fogelman developed and executive produced Paradise, which 20th Television produces. Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra, John Requa, John Hoberg, Jess Rosenthal, and Brown are all executive producers.
The 2024 Academy Award nomination for American Fiction and the 2021 Emmy for Lincoln: Divided We Stand both went to Sterling K. Brown.
