Stardom - Aryan Khan spotted shooting his debut web series on the streets of Mumbai | Watch

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son, Aryan Khan, began shooting for his six-part web series, titled Stardom, in June 2023. The young filmmaker had earlier revealed the film’s script was completed in 2022. As the filming continues, Aryan was recently spotted shooting the series on the streets of Mumbai.

Aryan shooting for Stardom in Mumbai

In a video posted by paparazzi on their Instagram handle, Aryan is seen on the sets of Stardom, directing a scene. In the video, it is also visible that the team of Stardom used two huge umbrellas to hide the shooting process from the local public.

Star cast of Stardom

Titled Stardom, the series is based on the intricate details of Bollywood and will also feature cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Ranveer Singh. Gautami Kapoor, Lakshya Lalwani and Mona Singh are also reportedly playing pivotal roles in the series.

A source revealed to Peepingmoon, “SRK and Ranveer will be seen in different episodes, playing roles that are small but important in taking the story forward. It’s a special part, and both are excited to shoot for it under the direction of Jr. Khan.”

The series, backed by his father Shah Rukh Khan, began shooting in June last year. Notably, SRK gave Aryan the biggest surprise when he visited the sets of Stardom on the first day of shooting to wish his son well.

Aryan on working with Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan

Recently Aryan was seen alongside his sister, actress Suhana Khan and father Shah Rukh Khan, in an advertisement for his clothing brand D’yavol X. Speaking about his experience of directing the ad, Aryan told GQ India that both SRK and Suhana are creatively stimulating in different ways. “As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads, as well as oversee the photoshoots. I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to logistics. On the other hand, as a director I have to look into every detail, every shot and every angle,” he explained.

Speaking about how he maintains a balance in life, considering Aryan is an entrepreneur and is soon going to make his directorial debut, the young filmmaker told GQ India that he likes to keep himself busy.
