Sritej on Bahishkarana's massive success: My career has changed post the release of the series

Bahishkarana is Zee 5's latest web series, which has caught the imagination of one and all. The series is set in the Guntur region and is about a courtesan who finds redemption in her life. Directed by Mukesh Prajapathi, this series has six episodes and is also nearing 50 million streaming minutes. 

Sritej on Bahishkarana's success

Talented actor Sritej played the main lead in this series, and he has become an overnight sensation for his sincere portrayal in the show. Speaking in an interview, Sritej says that his life has changed big time post the release of Bhaishkarana. "Not many know that I have been in the industry for 18 years now, and not many recognize me even now. But the manner in which the director Mukesh showed faith in me and extracted solid performance has done the trick," says Sritej.

The noted actor also adds that since the time the show was released, his phone has rung non-stop, and he is getting so many film offers, one after the other. Ravindra Vijay played the main villain in this show, which also has star heroine Anjali in the lead role. Her performance as a bold prostitute has shocked one and all.

The period drama has brought her back into the game and Anjali is super thrilled with the success of the series. The director Mukesh left an open end to the first season, and there is news that the second season will also be made in the days to come.

For now, Zee 5 is super happy that the series has taken off on a solid note. Bahishkarana is also being spoken about the bold dialogues and rich visuals. For now, Sritej is thrilled with the success of the show. With Bhaishkarana, Zee 5 has scored yet another hit.
