Bahishkarana is Zee5's latest web series which is all set to stream on July 19, 2024. There is a very positive buzz for this series as the trailer has caught the imagination of one and all. Sritej, the talented young actor, plays a key role in this series and says that Bahishkarana will be dark and question your belief system.
Sritej opens up on Bahishkarana
The manner in which the series has been narrated and the suppression of the poor by the rich in a village is showcased in a superb manner, says Sritej. The young actor has been in the industry for the longest time and has done many films. He is known to portray real-life characters of many politicians like Chandra Babu and Rajasekhar Reddy in several movies.
But he has yet to break into the top tier as some of his movies did not click at the box office. Off late, he is getting good roles, and one of them is Bahishkarana. He will be seen as the love interest of Anjali and has a daunting character with grey shades. His look and chemistry with Anjali have become the talking point already.
Speaking about his role, Sritej says that his character is key in the series, and the major conflict happens because of his character. When asked about working with the likes of Anjali, Sritej says that the senior actress was quite supportive and did not show any starry tantrums. "I have learned a lot from Anjali Garu while working on Bahishkarana. She will shock everyone with her bold performance in the series, and I feel it is her best work to date," says Sritej.
Ravindra Vijay plays the main villain in this series, which is a period drama set in the Guntur region. Mukesh Prajapathi has directed this series which will have six episodes in total. We need to see how much Bahishkarana helps Sritej in her OTT career. Watch this space for more.
