Srijit Mukherji meets Rakhee Gulzar, shares his ‘fanboy moment’

Rakhee Gulzar has been shooting in Kolkata for the last few weeks. She doesn't want to divert her mind on anything outside the shooting. Rakhee Gulzar plays the protagonist in the film Amar Boss, directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee. Thursday was the last day of her shooting. But amidst her busy schedule, she gave time to a Tollywood director.

Srijit Mukherji went to the set on Thursday. His purpose was to meet Rakhee. He chatted with the actress in the makeup van. Srijit shared the photo on Facebook and wrote, “Ranga Pisima meets her fan.” Shiboprosad clicked the photo.

The shooting was going on in Sector 5. Srijit came there and spent some time with the directors. Then she went to chat with Rakhee.

Srijit is busy with the shooting of Tekka. But he still managed to come. Rakhee will return to Mumbai on Friday. Hence, Srijit did not want to miss the chance to meet his favourite actress.

Ranga Pishima is Srijit’s tribute to Rituparno Ghosh’s Shubho Mahurat. In the film that also features Sharmila Tagore, the character Ranga Pishima is portrayed by Rakhee Gulzar. Ranga Pishima solves a murder mystery in the film that also features Nandita Das and Anindya Chatterjee.
