Sreenu Vaitla to team up with Gopichand, here's what we know

Sreenu Vaitla, the director from Telugu cinema was one of the busiest and highest-paid directors and gave solid hits like Dookudu and Badshah. But a string of flops has made him get sidelined and he is nowhere to be seen these days. A few months back, Vishnu Manchu announced Dhee 2 with Vaitla but the film is yet to go on floors. Some even say that the film has been shelved.

But now, we have come to know from our sources that Sreenu Vaitla has met action hero Gopichand and narrated a script to him. The source also adds that Gopichand loved the script and has given the go-ahead from his side. But Sreenu Vaitla is also looking for a producer to fund his film. All the big banners have shut doors for Sreenu Vaitla and we need to see who will produce his film.

Sreenu Vaitla has never worked with Gopichand and the latter is also struggling a lot for a hit. It has been quite some time since Gopichand scored a hit and he has pinned all his hopes on his new film Rama Banaam which is being directed by Sriwas. At such a time, Gopichand is ready to work with directors who will showcase him in a new manner.

On the other hand, Sreenu Vaitla has given flops like Aagadu, Bruce Lee, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Mister with Varun Tej. None of these films clicked and Sreenu Vaitla was showered with heavy trolls. Also, his personal relationship with his wife also took a beating and he was seen nowhere. But now, looks like he is all set for a comeback soon.
