Malayalam actor Sreenath Bhasi’s outbursts are seemingly not just limited to his movies such as Chattambi and #Home. A police case was filed against the actor for allegedly verbally abusing an interviewer and her crew during the promotions of his latest movie Chattambi.

Soon after the details of the complaint were disclosed, another video of the actor hurling abuse at an RJ during a radio interview also made its way to social media. In both instances, the actor can be seen getting infuriated at the fun questions that he had to answer in the interviews.

Incidentally, it was also during these promotional interviews that Sreenath had talked about how Kunchacko Boban had ‘schooled’ him with a lesson on how actors can behave on sets. The Kumbalangi Nights actor brought up Kunchacko's name when an interviewer had asked him about the most down-to-earth person he had met and went on to explain an incident that transpired on the sets of Allu Ramendran.

“During the shoot, I had taken a break to go to the loo. When I came back, there was a commotion on the sets. This was at 3am. A couple of drunkards had turned up and were speaking to Kunchacko Boban,” said the actor, explaining that Kunchacko was listening to them with his head bowed.

Sreenath said Kunchacko didn’t even react and he was the one who had asked the people to leave. “They were drunk, and Chackochan was saying, ‘No Bhasi, don’t say anything’. That is class, bro,” said Sreenath to the interviewer. “That was Chackochan teaching me, ‘Son, this is how you do it’.” The duo had also shared screen space in Anjaam Pathira.

Incidentally, in the interview that he is accused of verbally abusing the anchor, Sreenath was asked to rank his co-stars based on their rowdiness and is seen losing his cool. The anchor had filed a complaint against the actor at the Maradu police station and with the Kerala Women’s Commission.
