Squid Game, which became one of Netflix’s biggest hits, is now being adapted as a reality show. The original show was a survival drama. The reality series also is a survival drama but nobody will be killed in it.

The reality show, Squid Game: The Challenge, will also be streaming on Netflix. It will be available from November this year.

Just like in Squid Game, 456 players will come under one roof with one goal – to earn enough money to survive a lifetime (and the loser won’t even lose their life). The cash prize is USD 4.56 million. The amount, undoubtedly, is the biggest cash prize in all of reality TV shows.

The original show, Squid Game, offered the winner a prize money of USD 38 million. However, there could be only one survivor and that survivor is the winner of the prize money.

The show will feature 10 episodes. It was filmed in United Kingdom. Just like in Squid Game, one will see how far people can push to win the prize money. The viewers will also witness opportunistic alliances, cutthroat strategies and timely betrayals in the reality show.

Squid Game is a superhit South Korean survival drama TV series which released on Netflix worldwide on September 17, 2021. The show starred stars Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-joon, HoYeon Jung, O Yeong-su, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi and Kim Joo-ryoung.
