There is no way we have moved on from the tragedy that Squid Game season 2 has left us with. The much-anticipated second season returned to Netflix after making loyal fans wait for a long time, with a promise of returning much sooner than before. The show opened to mixed reviews, but that didn’t stop fans from watching it and making it one of the top-viewed shows on the platform. The last ten days have been dedicated to rewatching the show and dissecting every detail to predict what it means for season 3. However, in this process, a fan has noticed a goof-up that no one at Netflix spotted during the post-production stage.
To give you a clear idea, we’re talking about the seventh episode of the second season of Squid Game. In this episode, Gi-hun, with the help of some of the players, decides to raise a rebellion, forcibly snatch guns from the pink guards, and take down the establishment. During a shootout in the dorm hall, fans noticed a massive goof-up that Netflix Korea missed and didn't remove from the show.
In one frame that remains static for a bit, we actually see a cameraman shooting with a handheld camera in the background while the shootout is happening in the hall. Netizens have observed this and are rampantly sharing it online. This goof-up is being compared to the one that happened a few years ago in Game of Thrones when a Starbucks coffee mug was left on set and made it to the final cut. Check out the audience reactions below.
