The highly anticipated film Munjya, which finally released on June 7, 2024, treated fans to a surprise post-credit scene featuring Varun Dhawan's appearance from Bhediya. Well, it's definitely a huge spoiler that came in hot in the post-credit scene of the latest horror comedy. Now, Varun took to his Instagram story and shared a few videos from his special appearance in the film.

The actor posted the video with a caption stating that the "wolf man" is back after his first appearance, which took place in December 2022. Abhishek Banerjee, who portrays Janardhan, aka Janna, and serves as the common link between Stree and Bhediya, appears alongside VD in the sequence.

Haunting post-credit scene
With a tense tune playing in the background, the final scene of Munjya features Jana yelling out in a jungle. Bhaskar (Varun) emerges from behind a boulder in a flash, nude. An underwear bearing the name Munni is among the items of clothing that Jana gives him. As Bhaskar remarks on it, the audience hears the haunting murmur of Munjya, the tormented ghost, which adds a spooky element to the action.
A young boy's untimely death occurs just before Munjya's most formative event. His unfulfilled wishes, including the one to marry a girl named Munni, take him on a merrymaking journey. The post-credit scene meticulously establishes a connection between the mythical background and the storyline theories surrounding Varun Dhawan's Bhediya 2.
The speculation around Varun Dhawan's appearance in Munjya heated up earlier when Sharvari shared a photo of the two of them online with the remark, "Bhediya wants to know who is Munjya's Munni."
The concluding scene of Munjya has only served to confirm the rumours.
Hints of cosmic links
In his film, filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar dropped hints about cosmic links. Several people have even speculated that Munjya exists in a parallel realm to the Stree ones, he said. The director also mentioned the possibility of connections within his films. Once viewers see it for themselves, they will understand.
