Currently, the film's pre-production is in full swing in Hyderabad, and we have learned that Prabhas will soon be interacting with several award-winning young police officers in Telangana. Since Spirit marks the first time Prabhas will be playing a police officer, Sandeep Vanga wants him to spend time with real-life cops to understand their thought processes, discipline, and approach to handling high-profile cases.

However, the film’s production was delayed after Prabhas sustained an injury on set, which also led to Spirit being pushed to the latter part of 2025. Apart from Spirit, Prabhas is also working on The Raja Saab, a horror-comedy directed by Maruthi, where he will be seen in a completely new avatar.
