Who could have thought that Sony Pictures would choose April Fool’s Day to make the biggest announcements of the year for their production house at CinemaCon 2025? The studio took center stage at the now-happening CinemaCon and made sure that they delivered some of the biggest announcements about the three biggest projects that are set to hit the big screen in 2026. The studio made sure there was enough to leave fans across the world excited as they confirmed Spider-Man 4 is on track with a new title, and not just that—it also has a release date. If that wasn't enough, The Beatles Biopic, a four-part cinematic event, was confirmed with an ensemble that looks fun and intriguing. And wait, we also know when Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse releases. Read on to know everything you should about the same.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

Among the biggest reveals of the night was the official announcement of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, this highly anticipated sequel is set to hit theatres on 4th June 2027. Fans are in for a treat with the return of Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld. To amp up the excitement, the team unveiled the first-ever footage of Miles Morales, leaving the audience eager for the film’s release.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India will exclusively release Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse in theaters on 4th June 2027.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Just when fans thought the excitement couldn’t get any bigger, Sony Pictures officially announced Spider-Man 4, titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the highly anticipated fourquel will see Tom Holland back in action. Adding to the buzz, Holland sent a witty video message for the CinemaCon audience. The film is set to hit cinemas exclusively on 31st July 2026.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton took center stage at CinemaCon to talk about the gigantic responsibility that he has on his shoulders now. He said, "I'm spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world. We're all just daily nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event, an emotional story, and a ride that we haven't really seen before," as quoted by Variety.

Sony Pictures Entertainment India will exclusively release Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters on 31st July 2026.

The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event

The highlight of the night came with the announcement of The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event, directed by Sam Mendes. As a band that defined a generation and shaped music history, their upcoming cinematic journey is sure to evoke a sense of nostalgia among fans worldwide. Director Sam also revealed the star-studded cast: Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon. The Beatles will hit theaters in April 2028.
