Only a few hours are left for Netflix subscribers to enjoy one of the most enjoyable Spider-Man films in recent times, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. On September 1, 2023, Netflix will begin streaming the computer-animated superhero movie, which Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson directed earlier this year. Earlier, it was available to rent on Prime Video and ZEE5, but now the OTT giant will be streaming it for its subscribers.
Miles Morales faces new challenges:
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018, Best Animated Film) and features the return of Miles Morales as Spider-Man. Spider-Man, the full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man of Brooklyn, is propelled across the Multiverse after reconnecting with Gwen Stacy, where he meets the Spider Society, a group of Spider-People tasked with defending the very survival of the Multiverse. But when the Spiders disagree on how to deal with a new danger, Miles is forced to go it alone in order to protect the people he cares about. The act of donning the mask does not automatically make one heroic.

Miles runs into the Spider-Society while traveling with Gwen Stacy, aka Spider-Woman, throughout the multiverse and finds himself at odds with them regarding how to handle a brand-new threat in the form of the Spot.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse set records by earning $689.8 million worldwide on a $100 million budget, making it the third-highest-grossing movie of the year in the United States, the highest-grossing Sony Pictures Animation movie, and the sixth-highest-grossing movie of 2023. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, the third film in the trilogy, and Spider-Woman, a spinoff film focusing on a female Spider-Man character, are both in the works.
