The world is busy obsessing over the new announcements made at the Marvel Hall H event at San Diego Comic-Con. There is so much to be excited about, and fans are making sure to keep the buzz going. However, some fans are disheartened because, despite the massive updates about the world of MCU, Kevin Feige had no details to offer about the most anticipated Spider-Man 4. The fourth movie in Tom Holland's franchise has a lot of anticipation attached to it, and fans have been waiting for the studio to at least confirm the project. Unfortunately, there was nothing at Comic-Con. But let's not lose hope because reports now talk about a very important turn of events that connects Spider-Man 4 to a lot of other projects.
Ever since the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the post-credit scene that followed, everyone has been curious to know what happens with or to the piece of Symbiote that was left behind when Tom Hardy was sucked back into his timeline. We all saw that piece casually hanging around on the bar table, and no one really noticed it then. But it turns out the studio is all set to address it now, and it will indeed make it to Spider-Man 4. Read on to know everything you should about the same.
For the past many days, a rumor that Venom will be a part of Spider-Man 4 has been doing rounds. It was said that he will not be the main villain but a crucial part of the plot. Now there was no clarity on whether Tom Hardy will be its host or someone else. There was also no clarity on whether this Venom is from the piece left behind in Spider-Man: No Way Home or a completely different variant from the multiverse. But the latest report now does clarify a bit.

As per MCM Culture, a scooper who has shared some very reliable updates in the past, the Symbiote piece left behind in No Way Home will be addressed in Spider-Man 4 and will also be a crucial part of the film. Most recently, we saw Sony including the Symbiote piece in the Venom: The Last Dance trailer, which left the fans crazy. The most interesting turn will be if both movies address the same and meet at a common point.
The follow-up to Spider-Man: No Way Home is said to deal with Peter Parker's PTSD of losing everyone he loved and how he doesn't even have friends now. Later, we were told that the makers have even zeroed in on a director, and the work will begin soon. What is even more interesting is that they are developing the movie with Sony, who recently had a tug-of-war with them over the plot and the release date of the film, reportedly.
So, io9 in an interview asked Kevin Feige for an update on Spider-Man 4, where he said, "Amy [Pascal] and I are working on it. We have writers who are going to be delivering us a draft relatively soon." While this makes it clear that it is still far from entering production, the work is ongoing, and that is enough confirmation for now.
