Spider-Man 4 will follow the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and this means that there will be a storyline that explains what happens with the piece of Tom Hardy’s Venom symbiote that is left behind in Tom Holland’s world. Scooper Daniel Richtman in his latest scoop has now said that the Venom: The Last Dance trailer was likely a misdirect and that Venom symbiote will appear in Spider-Man 4. The fact that the studio plans to explore the dark side of the superhero, adding an alien becomes the best plot device.
Meanwhile, in the same scoop, Daniel also revealed that Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are now very close to getting a director on board for Spider-Man 4, and that also means that they will bring production on the long-awaited movie before the end of 2024. The last rumors were suggesting a 2025 timeline, but this rumor brings the plan to 2024.
