Popular South Korean actor Song Jae-rim passed away on Tuesday, November 12. He was 39 years old. As per reports, he was found dead in Seoul. The cause of death is still unknown.

According to Soompi, Song Jae-rim was found dead in an apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District. Police are investigating and a 'two-page letter' was allegedly found at the scene. Meanwhile, it is reported that the actor will be cremated on November 14.
Xportsnews reported that a memorial space has been arranged by his family at the Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall. It is also reported that his younger sister has been named as the chief mourner.
Soompi quoted a police official as saying, "At this point in the investigation, there are no signs of foul play.”
Song Jae-rim was found dead in his apartment in Seoul's Seongdong district. Local police started an investigation but a two-page letter was recovered from his house. Details of the letter and the exact cause of death are yet to be announced.

About Song Jae-rim
The actor made his debut in the 2009 film, Actresses. He became a household name after starring in The Moon Embracing the Sun. He played the role of the loyal bodyguard, Lord Kim Jae-woon, one of the supporting characters of the show.
He also starred in Two Weeks (2013), in which he played the role of a cold-blooded assassin. Song Jae-rim was also seen in shows like Unkind Ladies (2015), Secret Mother (2018), I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019), Café Minamdang (2022), and more recently, My Military Valentine (2024). In 2024, he was seen in Queen Woo. The late actor had two projects in the pipeline. These include I’ll Become Rich and Death Business.
