Sookshmadarshini OTT release date: When and where to watch Basil Joseph, Nazriya Nazim Fahadh’s film?

Sookshmadarshini, the black comedy mystery thriller film which stars Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim Fahadh in the lead roles, hit the theatres in November 2024. The movie, directed by MC Jithin, impressed the audiences with its excellent making, and performances, and emerged as a major commercial success. As per the latest reports, Sookshmadarshini is set to have its OTT release on popular streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar, on January 11, 2024.

Sookshmadarshini OTT release date out

According to the recent updates, Sookshmadarshini is finally gearing up for its OTT release, this weekend. Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim Fahadh’s mystery thriller film has its streaming debut on Saturday, January 11, 2024, on Disney+ Hotstar. The MC Jithin directorial is expected to have its OTT premiere at midnight on January 11, 2024. Sookshmadarshini is confirmed to stream on the platform in five languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Sookshmadarshini: Plot, cast and crew

The black comedy mystery thriller revolves around Priyadarshini aka Priya, who leads a happy life with her husband Antony, and their little daughter Kani. She shares a great friendship with the women in her neighborhood. Manuel, the owner of Grace Bakers, moves into her housing colony with his aging mother, Grace. Even though Manuel manages to charm the locals, Priya grows suspicious of his intentions and decides to keep an eye on him, which leads her to uncover some dark truths.

Nazriya Nazim Fahadh plays Priya in the film, which stars Basil Joseph as Manuel. Deepak Parambol appears as Priyadarshini’s husband Antony in the film, which features Sidharth Bharathan, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Merin Philip, Manohari Joy, and others in the supporting roles. 

Sookshmadarshini is jointly scripted by Athul Ramachandran and Libin TB. Christo Xavier composed the songs and the original score, for the film. Sharan Velayudhan is the director of photography. Chaman Chakko handled the editing. Sookshmadarshini is produced by AVA Productions and Happy Hours Entertainment.
